Basic Photography 101

Part 2 - December 3rd 

Fall River Camera Club is offering  a basic photography workshop, "Part 2" December 3rd at 7:00 p.m. by FRCC's Cal Ellinwood.  This class is open to  both members and non-members.  Those interested in attending should register by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   This course is a two part program designed to help members become better acquainted with their cameras and to learn basic photographic principles which will hopefully allow them to become more creative in their quest to become better photographers.

2008-2009 Multi-Screen Topics

The 2008-2009 "Multi-Screen" competition is scheduled for the Spring of 2009.  Over the next several months, members of four competing clubs will be collecting their best images in 24 defined categories. Each club will select one image in each of those categories to enter into the "Multi-Screen" Competition. Independent judging will select and award ribbons to each top entry. Additionally, the scores will be tallied to name the BEST CLUB in the competition.

FRCC 2009 Open Competition

Color and Black & White prints deadline February 11, 2009. 

Prints must be submitted no later than 7:00 p.m. on competition night so that the competition committee has time to organize the prints for the competition.  Help us out by bringing in your prints early.  Prints will be collected prior to the meeting between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. and at the end of the meeting.  Thank you.

Who is FRCC (Fall River Camera Club)?

FRCC, the Fall River Camera Club has been in existence since 1956.  The club hosts a variety of guest speakers, photographic demonstrations and hands on instruction throughout the year.  We meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, September through May, with the exception of November when we meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday, and meets at The Landmark, 400 Columbia St., Fall River, Massachusetts.  Great people, from many different skill levels, hobbyist to professional, the club that is looking for new talent, people who just want to learn about photography.   All are welcome, please join us.
